Pimpernel placemats have been manufactured using the same high quality standards for years. Using top quality eucalyptus wood and cork, farmed from environmentally managed forests. Each placemat and coaster has a unique protective coating which gives almost complete resistance to any kind of scuff marks or stains. Pimpernel placemats are also heat resistant to 110°C (230°F), easy to wipe clean and will not peel away at the edges, even after repeated use.

Our products are manufactured using the highest quality cork & hardboard with printing standards which remain the envy of our competitors. However, it is the unique lacquer spray applied to the surface of our mats which provides the real point of difference and superiority.
Pimpernel mats have completely sealed edges, high heat resistance, a smooth silky finish and almost complete resistance to any kind of scuff marks and stains.

A Pimpernel placemat is not only decorative, but it is also a highly functional product. As the diagram shows, a layering system is used to produce a top quality coaster.
